Samantha Costanzo Carleton is a second-generation Cuban-American poet and writer who was born in Los Angeles, CA. Her work tends to sit at intersections: of family and independence, motherhood and selfhood, grief and joy, tradition and newness, and all the tiny moments in between them. She's currently studying in Northeastern University’s Contemporary Creative Writing program and lives on the North Shore of Massachusetts with her husband and daughter, a frequent subject of her work.
